Some speakers are built to disappear into a room. The KEF LS LUXE is built to be the reason you walk into one.
KEF has just unveiled the LS LUXE, a wireless, lossless speaker system developed in partnership with renowned designer Ross Lovegrove. It's the latest expression of KEF's ongoing collaboration with Lovegrove, and it's easily one of the most ambitious pieces the brand has ever released — a genuine fusion of sculptural design and audio engineering, built for listeners who want their sound system to look as considered as it sounds.

A Speaker Designed Like a Sculpture
The LS LUXE has a rounded, low-diffraction form that reads more like a modern art object than traditional hi-fi. It's built from robust materials with a flexible decoupling chassis and advanced bulk molding compound, and it comes in three finishes: Dusk Titanium, Eclipse Black, and Mineral White. As KEF's Grace Lo put it, "True luxury doesn't announce itself — it transforms the atmosphere of a space, blending design excellence and acoustic mastery in a way that feels both immersive and effortless."

The Engineering Underneath
At the heart of the LS LUXE is KEF's 12th-generation 6.5-inch Uni-Q driver, with the tweeter positioned precisely at the acoustic center of the woofer for a wide, consistent sweet spot. The driver assembly benefits from Metamaterial Absorption Technology, which absorbs 99% of unwanted rear sound from the tweeter, and the LS LUXE introduces something entirely new to KEF's lineup: Velocity Control Technology (VECO).
VECO is a closed-loop system that uses a velocity sensor to monitor the Uni-Q driver in real time, feeding that data to a custom amplifier. The result, according to KEF, is a wider sweet spot, minimal distortion, even sound dispersion, and noticeably improved bass accuracy and detail.
Each speaker is powered by a hybrid 100W Class AB and 280W Class D current-drive amplifier, with KEF's proprietary Music Integrity Engine using DSP to keep the sound defined even as the amps work harder.

Built for the Way You Actually Listen
The LS LUXE runs on KEF's W2 wireless platform, delivering lossless audio up to 24-bit/384kHz. It offers direct access to Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer, and more, along with support for Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, QPlay, AirPlay, and Google Cast — plus compatibility with local NAS drives and music servers for lossless PCM and DSD playback. Roon support is planned for 2027.
On the connectivity side, you get HDMI eARC, analogue, optical, and coaxial inputs, along with a dedicated subwoofer output on each speaker — so the LS LUXE slots in just as easily behind a television as it does as a dedicated two-channel music system. An optional KW1 wireless subwoofer adapter kit allows for a fully cable-free connection to KEF subwoofers, and the K-Stream interspeaker cable offers up to 8 meters of placement flexibility between the two speakers.
Setup and fine-tuning happen through the KEF Connect app, with Normal and Expert EQ modes and an Advanced Room EQ DSP that automatically adapts the sound to your space. Day-to-day control comes via the app or the included C3 remote, which features an aluminum top plate, backlit buttons, and a customizable favorite button.

Availability
The KEF LS LUXE is available now! Optional S-LUXE floor stands with integrated cable management are also available for those who want to give the speakers a dedicated place in the room.
We're thrilled to be able to bring this one into the Hi-Fi Centre lineup — it's exactly the kind of product that rewards an in-person listen. Come by the Vancouver showroom to see the LS LUXE in person and hear what Velocity Control Technology really sounds like.
