About Hi-Fi Centre
Founded in 1984 by Alex Kivritsky with a vision of offering high-performance brands and premium service, Hi-Fi Centre has grown to become Western Canada's premier high-end audio destination over 41 years. Located in downtown Vancouver, Hi-Fi Centre serves as the #1 dealer in Canada for virtually all major brands and has earned industry recognition that includes a Gold Award in CE Pro's 2021 Home of the Year competition.
Hi-Fi Centre's consultative approach transcends traditional retail, with staff acting as advisors who help customers achieve their audio goals rather than simply selling products. The company's commitment to excellence is reflected in remarkably low staff turnover, with team members dedicated to the business since the mid-1990s, and vendor relationships spanning over 30 years that form the foundation of their success.
The Vancouver Audio Festival continues a tradition that began in 2010. It has evolved into an annual celebration of audio excellence that attracts enthusiasts from all over BC and the Pacific Northwest.
