On Saturday, September 20th, we opened our doors to over 400 music lovers, audiophiles, families, and curious newcomers for the annual Vancouver Audio Festival. Hosted at our downtown showroom in the heart of Vancouver, this year’s event was a true celebration of high-performance sound and community connection.
From casual listeners to die-hard audiophiles, the event welcomed attendees of all experience levels into a space designed for discovery, conversation, and pure musical enjoyment.
A World-Class Listening Experience
This year’s festival featured multiple curated listening rooms, each showcasing a different high-end system—no velvet ropes, no time limits, just an open invitation to sit back and listen.

Featured products included:
- Loudspeakers from Bowers & Wilkins, Focal, Estelon, and Burmester
- Amplifiers from Luxman, Hegel, Linn, and CH Precision
- Digital source components, including the Eversolo T8 and CH Precision C10
- A complete home theatre suite powered by JVC’s DLA-NZ900 laser projector and Bowers & Wilkins CT Series

Every system was professionally set up to deliver the best possible performance—whether you were listening to a jazz trio, a classic rock track, or a cinematic soundtrack.
More Than an Audio Show
What made this year’s event stand out wasn’t just the gear. It was the diversity of attendees, the energy in the rooms, and the meaningful conversations that took place between customers, manufacturers, and music enthusiasts.

We welcomed not just longtime clients and collectors, but also first-time visitors, young families, and even children discovering vinyl for the first time.
“Out of 300+ visitors, many of them were first timers to the store or in any Hi-Fi audio stores at all. We saw many young kids, families, couples there... This is not just an audio event, but a family event and cultural experience.”
— Lily Luo, Burmester
“Refreshing and inspiring to see so many young people at the event. Clearly the next generation of Hi-Fi is in good hands.”
— Wade Kitagawa, KEF
A Store Built on Experience
This year’s festival also marked a significant milestone for Hi-Fi Centre: 40 years in business. Since 1984, we’ve been proud to serve Vancouver and beyond as Western Canada’s destination for high-end audio.
“It was a thrill to partner with the fine people at Hi-Fi Centre for their 40th anniversary event. A wonderful store with a terrific customer base. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the music flowed all day.”
— Paul Carlin, Linn
Industry Feedback
We’re honoured to have received incredible feedback from some of the most respected names in audio:
“Hi-Fi Centre’s Audio Festival was an incredible experience—wonderfully organised, engaging, and full of great connections. I truly enjoyed being part of it and look forward to the next one.”
— Allan Sung, Matrix Audio

“Non-stop traffic throughout the day, and the interest shown by customers was amazing. I hope they do that again every year.”
— Michel Rousseau, Rega
"I’ve had the privilege of working with Hi-Fi Centre for 25 years. My very first event with them took place at the original Seymour Street location, and it was unforgettable: the music director of the Vancouver Symphony gave the introductions, Mercedes-Benz unveiled new cars, and we played to a packed store of music lovers. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to return for many events—first through the various Seymour Street locations, and more recently at the new store on Carrall Street. How they continue to pull it off is beyond me. Hi-Fi Centre consistently stages some of the finest events in our industry—worldwide. Hats off to Igor and his team. Truly remarkable."
— Kevin Wolff, CH Precision
These relationships matter deeply to us, and events like this one provide us with the opportunity to bring the industry and our community together under one roof.
Looking Forward
If the 2025 Vancouver Audio Festival taught us anything, it’s this: the love of great sound is alive and growing. We’re seeing a new wave of interest in hi-fi—and not just from seasoned audiophiles. Younger generations are discovering the emotional power of well-reproduced music, and they’re doing it right here in our showroom.

We’re already planning the 2026 edition of the festival, and we can’t wait to welcome even more of you next time.
