Olympica G3 V is the top floorstanding loudspeaker in the Olympica G3 range, designed to deliver full‑scale, full‑range performance with the natural, expressive character Sonus Faber is known for. It’s voiced to sit at the apex of the series, bringing extra authority, refinement and headroom while staying tonally coherent with the other Olympica G3 models.

High frequencies are handled by a Sonus Faber tweeter using Damped Apex Dome (D.A.D.) technology, which carefully controls the dome’s behaviour at its apex to keep treble smooth, extended and free of hardness even at higher levels. The front baffle shaping supports wide, even dispersion, so high‑frequency detail and “air” remain consistent for listeners across a realistic seating area rather than being locked to a single sweet spot.

At the heart of the midband is the dedicated Candela midrange driver, a key element of the Olympica G3 identity. Its cone and motor system are engineered for a precise balance of stiffness, damping and control, allowing vocals and instruments to come through with clarity, texture and timing so the speaker feels communicative and engaging rather than clinical. Behind the driver, a cork backing acts as a damping layer, chosen for its ability to absorb and manage resonances around the midrange; this helps keep the critical vocal region clean and reduces colouration from the cabinet and driver interface.

Bass is delivered by multiple woofers developed specifically for the Olympica G3 V. Their cones, surrounds and motor structures are specified for substantial, controlled excursion with low distortion, giving the speaker convincing depth and punch while maintaining grip and definition. Working within an internally braced enclosure with non‑parallel internal surfaces and carefully tuned loading, these woofers aim for bass that underpins music and film soundtracks with authority and control rather than simply adding boom, allowing G3 V to behave like a true full‑range loudspeaker in larger spaces.
