Its new Tweeter-on-Top configuration and the revolutionary Biomimetic Suspension in its decoupled midrange drive unit combine to raise the 703 S3 to all-new heights of performance.

The 700 Series features the latest generation of our iconic Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing. Its new, more elongated form incorporates a longer tube-loading system to produce an even more free and open sound with high frequencies. The carefully decoupled housing is milled from a single solid block of aluminium to better resist resonance.

Every three-way loudspeaker in the new 700 Series has a dedicated midrange cone using four key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, FST™, Biomimetic Suspension and midrange decoupling, the latter ensuring minimal interference from the operation of the loudspeaker’s bass drivers.

Carbon Dome tweeters are purpose-built for the 700 Series. Delivering a dramatic improvement on the aluminum double dome tweeter, they raise the breakup threshold to 47kHz, for pinpoint imaging accuracy and detail.

What’s the difference between the 703 S3 and the 702 S3?

The 703 S3 features a similar technology stack but includes dual (instead of triple) bass drivers, offering a slightly more compact profile while still delivering outstanding performance. It also debuts the Tweeter-on-Top design for the first time in this model tier.

Is the Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top just a design element?

Not at all. It's precision-milled from a single block of aluminum to drastically reduce resonance and optimize high-frequency dispersion, resulting in a more open, airy sound.

Can this speaker be used for both music and home theatre?

Absolutely. It excels in both stereo music systems and as front left/right speakers in high-performance home theatre setups. Pair with a matching 700 Series centre channel for optimal results.

How big of a room is ideal for this model?

This model is best suited for medium to large rooms where its scale and dynamic range can shine. Proper placement and acoustic treatment can further enhance performance.

Can this speaker be paired with other speakers in the 700 Series?

Absolutely. It’s designed to integrate seamlessly with other 700 Series models, such as the HTM71 S3 or HTM72 S3 centre channel and 707/706 bookshelf speakers, for a complete surround setup.
