How did you first discover Hi-Fi Centre?
I've known Alex and Igor since the inception of Hi-Fi Centre :-)

What was your situation before purchasing from us?
As I mentioned in the previous section, I knew Alex Kivritsky since before he founder Hi-fi Centre. I have not purchased from Hi-Fi Centre in many years, mostly because my passion for hi-end, pure audio had faded. Since the resurgence in vinyl and turntables I have renewed that passion :-)

What was the main reason you chose Hi-Fi Centre over other retailers?
Expert advice/consultation, Canadian retailer
I cut my teeth at Bay Bloor Radio in Toronto and, well, Hi-Fi Centre was followed in their tradition.

Always welcoming, professional and expert presentation and explanation of the products you represent.

How has your new audio setup changed your daily life?
Well, I'm really just getting started, but for Christmas my sons (3) all bought me a classic and pristine new vinyl album from one of my favourite bands artists as they knew I had pulled together some of my old equipment (that still worked) from our garage attic. On Christmas Day we listed to The Beatles Rubber Soul, an amazing Oscar Peterson live recording and a few others and I could not stop smiling!!!

What's your favourite thing about your new system?
Despite the fact that my system is currently not "high-end" what I recalled from my audiophile days was still present. The pure "acoustic" tone of the instruments. The spacial clarity, left to right pans and from the back. It was clear to myself and our sons that vinyl is head of heals above digital.

Would you recommend Hi-Fi Centre to others? Why?
Absolutely! Well, as I mentioned already, Hi-Fi Centre is, in my opinion, the only retailer in Western Canada that rivals Bay Bloor Radio as a high-end retailer.

What specific product(s) did you purchase from Hi-Fi Centre?
In the past, vinyl accessories and a pair of studio monitors I believe when the store was on Seymour.

What would you tell someone who's considering Hi-Fi Centre?
If you're looking for a quality audio system, Hi-Fi Centre offers the premier equipment in every category. You will be given expert advice, no pressure and they will stand behind what they see to you!

Is there anything else about your experience you'd like to share?
I wish I lived closer so I could just come by, say hello and just kick tires :-) Who knows maybe buy something too!

PLEASE NOTE—I'm almost embarrassed to upload the picture of my current system, but it's my new start. The speakers are actually, for the money, the best part by far. My plan is to hopefully win the Planar turntable :-) or buy one. That would be my first upgrade. Next would obviously be the receiver. I would be interested in the Marantz line which I believe you sell.
