How did you first discover Hi-Fi Centre?

What was your situation before purchasing from us?
In 2007 I had a crappy Technics separates system. Greg sold me Supernait, CDX2, and B&W 804s. From there, added an NDX, then a NAP 200, NAC 282 and a DAC. at some point I added B&W 802 D3. Later a NAP 300 upgrade. Then an NDX 2 to replace NDX and DAC. Finally i added an XPS and now i'm looking for a used HiCap to finish it off.
Additionally, Greg sold me an RP6 in bright red and various cartridge upgrades. And a fully Akitiv LINN System Hub, Exactbox, multiple power amps and Linn 242.
What was the main reason you chose Hi-Fi Centre over other retailers?

First visit was to the old Seymour location after a recommendation from a colleague.

An absolute pleasure to deal with Greg and i have never dealt with anyone else at the store other than someone that came to help me with network at home.
How has your new audio setup changed your daily life?
My Naim system is unbelievable. I always loved music and for years, even as a poor teenager, i lusted after a better hifi system. When i started to listen to Naim i felt completely satistifed...until the next upgrade. But seriously, its great. It reaches the right balance of price and performance. When i go to the store, I usually like the Naim system on demo more than any other.
Last couple of times i was in the store I have listened to the Linn system with the monoblocks etc.. It is amazing, but somehow has become more realistic than reality. Its so realistic that its kind of distracting.
What's your favourite thing about your new system?
My Naim system is more or less perfect. The Aktiv Linn system in my office is also great, but not nearly as good as the Naim system. Just about all kinds of music sound great, which is difficult to achieve in a single set-up.
Would you recommend Hi-Fi Centre to others? Why?
100%. Customer service is great at all times from prior to decision, to time of sale, and future service or upgrade.

All of the above except for the XPS which i bought used online.
What would you tell someone who's considering Hi-Fi Centre?
Go to HiFi Centre if you want real advice from real people instead of algorithms. You will spend more than planned. You will regret nothing.
