I found you carried equipment that I was interested in.
What was your situation before purchasing from us?
I recently built a cabin (860 Sq. Ft) on Galiano Island which gave me the opportunity to acquire a new sound system. At my home I have a Devialet 140 and Linn Espek speakers to play the sound from about 600 albums thru my MoFi Absolute turntable and a Bluesound Vault to play about 10,000 digital songs (all in albums). We have no room for albums or even excess audio equipment in the new place.

I met Raymond on my first visit in Nov. ‘23. I told him I wanted the LS 60’s but was leaving for Belize in a few days and we reach out in April. I’d ordered Black but while in Belize I spent time on the KEF website and I loved the Royal Blue. I contacted Raymond and with a couple of E-mails the Royal Blues were arranged. I picked them up a day or two after my return and got them to Belize a few days later.
How has your new audio setup changed your daily life?
My wife wears a cochlear input and finds she hears most of the music better. I love just sitting and reading and listening to whatever tune I like. I have an Eversolo DMP A8 with most of my digital tunes feeding my LS 60’s. Sitting down, here on Galiano, listening to high res. renderings of some of my favorite albums thru a couple of swipes on my iPad is amazing to me.
What's your favourite thing about your new system?
Extraordinary sound that seems everywhere at once in a natural way….at the tap of a screen.
Would you recommend Hi-Fi Centre to others? Why?
Absolutely! Great audio selection, wonderful sound rooms and great folks to introduce and explain what they have.
