I first talked to Alex every time I came in learning about the different levels of quality I could achieve on my budget which wasn’t much. My first purchase, which came years later around 1993, was with Igor. He got me into a Denon/KEF system which I still have today.
How has your new audio setup changed your daily life?
I upgraded to a Rotel with B&W speakers years later which I also still have. Then I bought a Marantz with KEF speakers which I really enjoyed. I learned about acoustics at HiFiCentre and how much your room can negatively affect your listening experience. This got me building my own acoustic solutions.
What's your favourite thing about your new system?
I haven’t bought my new system yet but I know it will be more refined and powerful than what I currently have.
Would you recommend Hi-Fi Centre to others? Why?
Yes - it’s the best place for thoughtful advice considering your wants, your wallet and your reality. As my spending ability increased they made more expensive suggestions and always informed me the differences I would hear.
What specific product(s) did you purchase from Hi-Fi Centre?
I first bought a used Denon system with KEF Q tower speakers
What would you tell someone who's considering Hi-Fi Centre?
Talk to a few other companies then go compare their advice with the professionals at HiFiCenter. You won’t go back to the others.
Is there anything else about your experience you'd like to share?
I wish they had an outlet near me.
