How did you first discover Hi-Fi Centre?
I've been buying audio equipment with advice from Dennis Parsonson for decades!
What was your situation before purchasing from us?
I had a fine all Canadian system including the highest end Bryston amplification and Paradigm speakers from 20 years ago, through which I played over 8000 compact discs and the audio for 5000 movies. I decided to move from Compact Discs to streaming for a move, new speakers so that I would have boxes for them, and A/V receiver for streaming and better sound for the movies.

How has your new audio setup changed your daily life?
I listen intently to music every morning, as I am a professional musician. The clarity and beauty of soprano voices and solo guitar with the decoupled tweeters of the B&W speakers, fantastic imaging. My jaw has dropped every morning since changing to B&W speakers.
What's your favourite thing about your new system?
The effect on my friends who are musicians in listening sessions. One of the tracks I frequently play is Daydream by Houston Person with Ron Carter. Just tenor saxophone with string bass. A dear friend who is one of Canada's finest double bass players in every style said "I should have brought a change of underpants." A fine trombone said, "I don't want to hear my recordings on this system....it's too revealing."
