Product Description

The Rega Planar 6 RS Turntable utilizes high-grade RCA phono outputs and a dedicated mini-DIN power interface to deliver exceptionally quiet, low-noise analogue performance. Built to bridge the performance gap between classic high-end decks and flagship engineering, this edition integrates key hardware directly from top-tier Rega turntables to elevate your daily vinyl listening.

Flagship Tonearm and Cartridge Combination:

The Rega Planar 6 RS Turntable features the precision RB880 tonearm paired with a factory-fitted Nd9 moving magnet cartridge. Built to eliminate mechanical friction, the arm tracks record grooves cleanly across the entire LP surface. This pairing pulls out subtle micro-details, punchy musical dynamics, and expansive stereo imaging from your favourite albums.

Ultra-Rigid Foam Plinth Construction:

At the foundation of the deck is an ultra-lightweight Tancast 8 foam core plinth wrapped in a brushed aluminum skin. Anchored by a dual-layer float glass platter and a signature double-brace design, this low-mass assembly resists room vibrations. By preventing resonance from reaching the stylus, it creates a silent background that lets bass lines and instrumental textures stand out clearly.

Precision Motor and Speed Control:

Exact rotational speed is critical for pitch accuracy and timing. Driven by the external Neo PSU MK2 power supply, twin Reference EBLT belts, and a CNC-machined pulley, the turntable maintains smooth, rock-solid platter rotation. The hand-tuned 24-volt synchronous motor suppresses motor vibration to deliver tight bass response and clear dynamic expression.
