Innovation is a reference-level turntable that exemplifies Clearaudio’s uncompromising approach to analogue playback. Designed and manufactured in Germany, the Innovation combines advanced materials, precision engineering, and modular construction to deliver exceptional musical realism, authority, and long-term upgrade potential.

At its core, the Innovation features a high-mass, multi-layer chassis constructed from carefully selected materials with complementary resonance-damping characteristics. This substantial structure provides outstanding isolation from external vibration and creates an exceptionally inert platform for the record and tonearm. Compared to more compact designs, the increased mass and physical scale of the Innovation result in deeper bass control, improved dynamic expression, and a more expansive, stable soundstage.

Central to the Innovation’s performance is Clearaudio’s Ceramic Magnetic Bearing (CMB), which partially levitates the platter using opposing magnetic forces to dramatically reduce friction and mechanical noise. This advanced bearing system allows the platter to rotate with extraordinary smoothness and consistency. Driven by Clearaudio’s precision DC motor system and sophisticated speed control electronics, the Innovation maintains exceptional pitch accuracy and timing, even during complex musical passages.

The Innovation is supplied with Clearaudio’s Universal 9" tonearm, a highly versatile, high-precision pivoted tonearm engineered for excellent rigidity, low friction, and accurate tracking. Its refined bearing design and precise geometry allow cartridges to extract maximum information from the groove while preserving tonal balance and musical coherence. Completing the system is the Clearaudio DaVinci moving coil cartridge, a high-performance transducer known for its fine detail retrieval, natural tonal balance, and dynamic nuance. Factory-matched to the tonearm, the DaVinci allows the Innovation to deliver a refined, highly resolving listening experience straight out of the box.
