The Cambridge Audio L/R X are the flagship active stereo speakers in the L/R series, engineered to deliver increased resolution, output capability, and low-frequency control. Designed using Cambridge Audio’s most advanced acoustic and amplification techniques, the L/R X provide a highly controlled, full-range sound with the scale and refinement required for larger listening spaces.
A high-performance, integrated amplification platform is precisely matched to the speaker drivers, allowing the L/R X to maintain clarity and composure across a wide dynamic range. The midrange is highly articulate and transparent, supporting accurate vocal and instrumental reproduction, while high frequencies are extended and controlled, preserving detail without excess emphasis.
Low-frequency performance is supported by an advanced passive radiator system, enabling deeper bass extension with reduced distortion and improved transient response compared to conventional ported designs.
