Focal Bathys Deep Black is a wireless noise‑cancelling headphone for customers who want genuinely hi‑fi sound in a travel‑ready, everyday form factor, with a darker, more understated finish than the original Bathys colours.

Bathys is built around 40 mm aluminium/magnesium ‘M’‑shaped dome drivers made in France, derived from Focal’s full‑size hi‑fi headphones. The tuning aims for detailed, dynamic playback with controlled bass, natural midrange and clean, extended highs, so it feels more like a compact Focal hi‑fi component than a typical ANC Bluetooth headphone. Connectivity is deliberately flexible. Bluetooth 5.1 with multipoint pairing and codecs including SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Adaptive covers phones, tablets and laptops with low‑latency, stable links. A built‑in USB‑DAC handles up to 24‑bit/192 kHz for higher‑resolution listening from computers or compatible devices, and a 3.5 mm input keeps Bathys useful with traditional analogue sources when you prefer not to run wireless.
