It operates as a true dual-mono design, with independent amplification stages and power supplies for each channel, reducing crosstalk and preserving spatial accuracy.
In listening, the A1.5 presents music with a strong sense of grip. Its output stage delivers 150 watts into 8 ohms, doubling into 4 ohms, with substantial current reserves that maintain control even with demanding loudspeakers. Bass is taut and well-defined, while the midrange retains openness and tonal neutrality. High frequencies remain smooth and composed, avoiding the hardness that can emerge in less controlled systems.
The amplifier integrates naturally into high-end two-channel systems, particularly where speaker control and system tuning are priorities. It pairs seamlessly with CH’s L1 preamplifier, but its neutrality makes it equally suitable in mixed-brand systems.
