The 702 S3 Signature takes our state-of-the-art flagship 700 Series floorstanding loudspeaker and evolves it to deliver unparalleled levels of performance. 702 S3 Signature features optimised versions of ourmost advanced technologies – as well as new ones. Engineered for pristine studio-quality sound at home The 702 S3 Signature utilises upgraded midrange and low-frequency motor systems, improved capacitors, revised speaker terminals, plus a more open tweeter grille mesh, as developed for our 800 Series Signature loudspeakers.

Solid Body Tweeter

The 700 Series Signature models feature the latest generation of our iconic Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing. Its new, more elongated form incorporates a longer tube-loading system to produce an even more free and open sound with high frequencies. The carefully decoupled housing is milled from a single solid block of aluminium to better resist resonance.

Biomimetic Suspension

Sometimes, making a big difference takes unconventional thinking. The transition from our famous yellow Aramid Fiber midrange cones to our Continuum cone technology resulted in a massive improvement to midrange performance. Now, we’ve turned our attention to another crucial element in a loudspeaker cone: the fabric spider. The new Biomimetic Suspension revolutionises midrange cone performance by greatly reducing the unwanted air pressure and coloration that a conventional fabric spider can generate. The result? Midrange transparency you wouldn’t believe possible.

Upgraded crossovers

The new 700 Series Signature models use upgraded crossover designs crafted by our expert engineers. Developed using rigorous testing, Bowers & Wilkins’ engineers carefully optimise these crossovers to perfection, to maximise the loudspeakers’ performance.

Aerofoil™ Profile bass cone

The 705 S3 Signature utilises an upgraded mid-bass motor system, improved capacitors and revised speaker terminals for even cleaner, refined sound. Aerofoil™ Profile bass cone Developed using advanced computer modelling techniques, the Aerofoil™ Profile bass cone has variable thickness, providing stiffness and rigidity where it’s needed most. The result is deep and dynamic bass.
