LAiV Harmony uDCC Reclocker

Harmony µDDC (uDDC) is a compact digital‑to‑digital converter and reclocker designed to sit between your source and DAC, cleaning up the digital signal before conversion. It is aimed at customers who already like the character of their DAC but want lower jitter, lower noise and a more stable digital front end.

The unit takes in digital audio over USB‑B, AES/EBU, coaxial or I2S, then uses FPGA‑based buffering and an ultra‑low phase‑noise femto clock to re‑clock the signal and send it back out over a galvanically isolated I2S output. This combination of reclocking and isolation helps reduce phase noise, ground‑borne interference and timing errors, which typically shows up as a cleaner, more relaxed presentation with better image stability when paired with a resolving DAC.

Format support is generous: via USB and I2S, Harmony µDDC handles PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512, while AES and coaxial support PCM up to 192 kHz and DSD64 via DoP. There is also a 10 MHz BNC input for an external master clock if you want to sync the reclocker to a higher‑end clock source. Power comes from a 5 V supply (via DC jack or USB‑C), and the small, CNC‑milled aluminium chassis keeps the footprint modest enough for desktop or rack use.
