Product Description

Harmony LExt IN2 is a compact extension interface that adds extra analogue inputs to the Harmony HP2A, using LAiV’s proprietary LE‑LINK connection instead of a separate external switch box. It is designed for customers who want to plug more real‑world sources into their HP2A — like a streamer, CD player or DAC — without compromising signal quality or cluttering the system.

The IN2 module adds two line‑level inputs: one balanced stereo XLR (up to 16 Vrms, around 94 kΩ input impedance) and one single‑ended stereo RCA (up to 8 Vrms, around 47 kΩ). The RCA input is converted to balanced before being sent over LE‑LINK, so both inputs arrive at the HP2A as balanced signals, helping maintain low noise and good channel separation. Power is supplied directly from the HP2A via the LE‑LINK cable, so there is no extra power supply to manage.

Physically, LExt IN2 follows the same footprint and finish as the HP2A, with a small, solid aluminium chassis and a single LE‑LINK connection on the rear. Once connected, it behaves as though the extra inputs were built into the main unit from the start, giving you a cleaner, more integrated way to expand analogue connectivity than stacking unrelated boxes.

For customers who like what HP2A does as a preamp and headphone amplifier but simply need more analogue inputs, Harmony LExt IN2 offers a neat solution: a dedicated XLR/RCA input expander that preserves the system’s look, keeps the signal path short and maintains the same focus on low noise and high fidelity.
