The Ovation features a high-mass, resonance-controlled chassis designed to suppress unwanted vibration and provide a stable foundation for the record and tonearm. This mass, combined with Clearaudio’s precision motor system, results in excellent speed stability and a calm, controlled sonic character with improved bass definition and clarity compared to more compact designs.

A key element of the Ovation’s performance is Clearaudio’s Ceramic Magnetic Bearing (CMB) technology, which significantly reduces bearing friction by partially levitating the platter on a magnetic field. This design lowers the noise floor and allows fine musical detail, spatial cues, and dynamic contrasts to be reproduced with greater ease and realism.

The Ovation is supplied with Clearaudio’s Clarify tonearm, a magnetically stabilised unipivot design that offers extremely low friction and exceptional freedom of movement. This allows the cartridge to track the groove with high accuracy while maintaining excellent musical flow and tonal balance. Completing the system is the Clearaudio Maestro V2 moving magnet cartridge, factory-matched to the tonearm to deliver rich tonal colour, strong dynamics, and refined detail straight out of the box.
