Product Description

Seamless Simplicity,
Exceptional Performance

The Emerson ANALOG redefines network audio with a single-box solution that connects your network directly to your amplifier, effortlessly adding streaming capabilities to your system. Beneath its outward simplicity lies the genius of Wattson Audio’s engineering—delivering a flawless music stream directly to your preamp or amplifier’s line input without the clutter of multiple components or cables. The Emerson ANALOG exemplifies Wattson’s commitment to engineering the shortest path to musical fidelity, transforming complexity into pure, streamlined performance.

By replacing multiple devices, cables, and connections with a single, expertly engineered solution, we eliminate potential sources of error and gain complete control over every detail. From hand-selected components and bespoke circuit design to precision-milled casework and proprietary software, every element reflects our expertise, honed through collaborations with the most respected names in high-end audio. The result is pure musical performance—high-end engineering distilled to its essence.

Unrivaled Power,
Unassuming Elegance

When designing the Emerson ANALOG, our engineers started with Wattson Audio's proprietary streaming engine—a proven and highly regarded solution we’ve developed and evolved over several years. At its core is Texas Instruments’ Sitara processor, which is driven by our updatable software. This engine, found in some of the most exclusive high-end products on the market, supports an ever-growing range of network communication protocols. Since its inception, the platform has undergone continuous refinement, ensuring optimal audio phase integrity, reliable transmission, and seamless support for Hi-Res audio formats like PCM and DSD—all without transcoding. The result is a streaming experience that is as responsive as it is musically engaging.

No processing is applied to the incoming digital stream, apart from the lossless LEEDH volume adjustment, which enables precise matching to your amplifier’s input sensitivity or acts as a volume control when required. The Cyrus/Wolfson WM8742 DAC has been selected for its renowned performance and ability to gracefully handle both DSD and PCM.

At the heart of Emerson ANALOG’s digital architecture is its “bit-perfect” data path. A carefully executed internal clock design incorporates two ultra-low-noise oscillators: one dedicated to base frequencies of 44.1kHz and their multiples and the other for 48kHz-based sampling rates. Only the necessary oscillator is powered at any time, ensuring minimal jitter through precisely designed clock signal generation and distribution.

This commitment to quality goes beyond the surface, ensuring that every component, no matter how small, is designed and assembled with an artisan's care and an engineer's precision. The result is a product that doesn't just function; it inspires confidence and elevates the experience of music listening to an art form. At Wattson Audio, we believe that craftsmanship is a dialogue between form and function, where even the tiniest detail can have a profound impact on the whole.
