Product Description

Add a Lingo power supply to your LP12 and enjoy a great performance improvement from this external unit. The role of the Lingo is to ensure that the LP12’s platter consistently revolves at the correct speed — 33.3 or 45 rpm. It also ensures that no noise is issued from the turntable’s motor — a vital factor in extracting the maximum amount of information from every one of your records. Low noise oscillators combine with filtering of the current and separate drives for both motor phases, to provide the LP12 with clean, precise power. The Lingo uses ‘stall detection’ circuitry to feed the motor with a higher voltage for increased start-up torque. When the platter reaches the selected speed, this load-sensing circuitry reduces the power output. From then on the motor simply maintains the platter’s own inertia to silently maintain a constant speed. Lingo is available in a choice of silver or black finish and provides a clear upgrade from the internal Majik power supply.
