Single-Point Acoustic Precision: The KEF Reference 5 Meta Floor Standing Speakers bring acoustic engineering into precise focus. By positioning the tweeter at the exact acoustic centre of the midrange cone, the Uni-Q driver array acts as a single point source. This configuration allows high and mid frequencies to disperse smoothly throughout the room, creating an expansive, balanced soundstage with consistent detail from any listening position.

Metamaterial Distortion Control: At the heart of this Reference Series design is Metamaterial Absorption Technology, a complex maze-like structure positioned behind the tweeter dome. This material absorbs 99 percent of unwanted sound waves radiating from the back of the driver, preventing distortion and allowing micro-details to remain clean and articulate. Four dedicated bass drivers frame the central driver, producing deep, low-frequency punch while maintaining immaculate control.

Vibration-Damped Enclosure: Engineered for optimal rigidity, each cabinet utilises strategic internal bracing to eliminate unwanted resonances that can colour the sound. Solid metal outrigger feet isolate the cabinet from the floor surface, maintaining pristine instock acoustic stability across dynamic musical passages. These Speakers deliver uncompromising clarity across demanding stereo and multi-channel audio setups.
