Built with enterprise-grade storage and Kaleidescape’s dedicated movie server architecture, the Compact Terra allows you to build a personal digital movie library with studio-quality video and lossless audio that surpasses traditional streaming services.
With 8TB of storage, the Compact Terra can hold approximately 130 high-bitrate 4K movies, or even more in HD and SD formats, giving you instant access to a substantial library of reference-quality content.
Movies are downloaded directly from the Kaleidescape Movie Store and stored locally on the server, ensuring flawless playback without buffering or compression. Unlike streaming services, Kaleidescape movies retain near-lossless video and fully lossless audio, preserving every detail exactly as the filmmakers intended.
Designed to work seamlessly with Kaleidescape Strato movie players, the Compact Terra can serve up to five simultaneous 4K HDR playback streams across multiple rooms, making it ideal for whole-home entertainment systems.
