Ask a Question

Experience breakthrough digital performance with the optional internal DAC module for the Gryphon Diablo 300 integrated amplifier. Drawing heavily on the engineering of the highly acclaimed Gryphon Kalliope digital-to-analogue converter, this cutting-edge module is praised by critics worldwide. Featuring a high-quality ESS Sabre ES9018 DAC chip and a 12.5 Farad SuperCap dedicated power supply, this future-proof module ensures optimal noise suppression and unrestricted dynamics.

The Gryphon Diablo 300 DAC module adds five digital inputs to the amplifier’s standard complement of analogue inputs. The display informs you about the selected digital source, sampling frequency, PCM/DSD audio format, SuperCap power supply status, and active digital filter setting. With fast or slow roll-off digital filter settings for PCM sources and 50, 60, or 70 kHz bandpass filters for DSD sources, this module provides unmatched versatility.

Fully isolated in an independent aluminium housing with grounded panels, the Gryphon Diablo 300 DAC module is impervious to HF radiation, eliminating any risk of interference with the amplifier stages or optional Gryphon phono module. This optional module can be factory-installed or fitted at a later date, ensuring compatibility with current and future digital audio formats.
