Its Cinematic ALR surface, made from premium HBSI TPU, rejects up to 95% of ceiling light while delivering a 0.8 peak gain and a 170-degree viewing angle. At the touch of a button, the screen rises smoothly from its floor-standing housing and retracts out of sight when the show is over, with support for 4K, 8K, HDR and active 3D content.

The Hi-Fi Centre Team Take

The Floor Rising screen solves one of the biggest challenges of living room projection - how to enjoy a cinema-sized image without dedicating a wall to it. When it's lowered, the room looks exactly as it did before, and when you're ready to watch, the screen rises in front of the projector in seconds, ready for movie night or the big game. The Cinematic ALR surface keeps blacks deep and colours rich with the lights on, and the micro-perforated acoustic design is a thoughtful touch for systems with speakers placed behind the screen. With the included USB trigger, it rises and retracts automatically with your AWOL Vision projector, so the whole system feels as simple to use as a television.

Key Picture & Design Features

Cinematic ALR Surface: A premium HBSI TPU surface engineered for UST projectors rejects up to 95% of ceiling light with a 0.8 peak gain, preserving contrast and colour across a wide 170-degree viewing angle.

Motorized Floor Rising Design: The screen rises from and retracts into its floor-standing housing by remote, with no wall mounting, drilling or permanent installation required.

Automatic Projector Synchronization: An included USB synchronized trigger raises the screen when the projector powers on and lowers it when powered off, with an RF remote offering memory height settings and custom height limits.

Authorized Dealer Support: Hi-Fi Centre is an Authorized Dealer for AWOL Vision, ensuring authentic products backed by full manufacturer warranty coverage, in-store demonstration and expert setup support.

Technical Specifications

Brand & Model: AWOL Vision Floor Rising UST ALR Screen

Component Type: Motorized Floor Rising Ambient Light Rejecting Projector Screen

Aspect Ratio: 16:9

Screen Material: Cinematic ALR surface, premium HBSI TPU

Acoustic Design: 0.4 mm micro-perforated

Peak Gain: 0.8

Ambient Light Rejection: Up to 95% of ceiling light

Viewing Angle: 170 degrees

Content Support: 4K, 8K, HDR, active 3D

Operation: Motorized floor rising with memory height and custom height limit settings

Control: RF wireless remote; USB synchronized trigger for automatic operation with the projector

Installation: Floor standing, no wall mounting or drilling required

Projector Compatibility: Ultra short throw projectors; USB synchronization with AWOL Vision LTV-2500, LTV-3000 Pro, LTV-3500 Pro and Aetherion series

Included Accessories: RF wireless remote, USB synchronized trigger, non-slip mat, power cord, assembly hardware

Housing Colour: Grey

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the AWOL Vision Floor Rising screen operate automatically with my projector?

Yes.
